Pelo Salon has a chair for rent full or part time! We are looking for a stylist who enjoys being their own boss and can be considerate of others’ work space as well. By having no receptionist or assistant we help keep your rent low and you can enjoy creating your own schedule. We maintain a bright and fun atmosphere where you have the freedom to work however best suits you.

Pelo provides the space, backbar and retail as well as color tools. We have water, coffee or tea for our clients and a comfy waiting area. We are easily accessible by L,G or the J,M,Z lines. In the heart of East Williamsburg we can boast tons of amazing coffee, pastry, bars and restaurants all within blocks!

Pelo was created with not only the customer but the stylist in mind. Pelo offers a welcoming environment that allows each individual hairdresser to create the business they envision for themselves. Happy hairdressers equals happy hair. For eleven years we’ve been a hidden gem but as East Williamsburg expands so does our clientele. Things to know:

Rent is paid monthly based on a day rate.

You provide your own color and styling tools

Your clients go thru you to schedule, new clients come thru our website or walk in

In our space cleaning up after yourself in a timely manner is a must
